Eleven Madison Park Pops Up - Hamptons Style
The hottest restaurant in the U.S. debuted in East Hampton on Saturday June 24. With it’s NYC location recently named the best restaurant in the world according to the World’s 50 Best List, owners Will Guidara and Chef Daniel Humm decided to spend the summer in the Hamptons while their Madison Avenue restaurant undergoes renovations.
The focus at the EMP Summer House, made easier by a strategic partnership with American Express, in addition to the Michelin 3 Star menu - will be ‘fun in the sun.’
The classic Hampton’s home on Pantigo Road (formerly occupied by Moby’s) is decked out with an elegant yet casual flair. The dining room is awash in white (walls and table clothes) with a beach inspired space. White and yellow striped umbrellas pepper the patio and a large yard is adorned with summer fun games including three luxury outdoor table tennis tables, made in the USA, by 11 Ravens. There is even an enormous lifeguard perch (with no pool in sight).
The seafood driven fare is supplied by all local purveyors including Amagansett Sea Salt and Widow’s Hole Oyster. Check the website for Lobster Boil and Fried Chicken Feast schedules.
Reservations for EMP Summer House are available, but going fast. Visit EMP Summer House’s Tock site— you will need an Amex to hold your reservation (and pay for your meal once you dine or you can pay with cash).
